Abnormal Reflexes??

Ok...I'm just taking a quick poll here. How many of you that are DIAGNOSED have any abnormal reflexes? If you do, will you plase elaborate? I saw my new rheumatologist yesterday to see if she thought I had Lupus. She's running many more tests, but I'll elaborate on that in another topic. She said that if what I had was MS, that by now (symptoms going on for 2 years now), I would have some sort of abnormal reflexes. So, is this a fairly accurate statement?? Thanks. ;)

One neuro thought my reflexes were abnormally brisk, which might point to some sort of nerve issues, but so far, they haven't identified anything concrete. But I have plenty of "neuro" issues.

I have abnormal reflexes, both hyper and hypo.  Right leg is slow to respond and sometimes jerks back and forth when I tell it to move.  Sometimes my right hand will move more than I wanted, or more jerkily - if I'm shaking a spice into the food, I have to be careful not to shake too much!

I don't recall what your symptoms are, and I don't know the context in which the neuro made that statement. Possibly something you said led her to expect that your particular symptoms should have caused abnormal reflexes by now. I'm doubting all this as I type it, but since I have no medical qualifications there are a million things I don't understand, so I could very readily be wrong.

Speaking just for myself, I'll say that my reflexes are completely normal. I've only had a diagnosis for 13 months, but I've had symptoms off and on since 2000.
