Please help me

My problems started 4 months ago while I was on touberclosis treatment for an inactive lymph in my chest which was possibly tb..my arms and legs have a vibratory feeling inside them.they feel weak especially my thighs when I wake up and get better as I walk around and day progresses.I get twitches here and there, worse on my calf muslces and somewhere behind my knees.if I use my hands or feet too much they get pulsating feelings in them.when I get extremely tired I get heaviness in legs and arms.that gets better with rest.I have tried vit d,vit b6 and have had all bloods done-normal.my symptoms sometimes get slightly better and sometimes they get worse to the point that cry at night with these uncomfortable feelings.my doctor thinks he has never seen anybody getting these symptoms with tb meds and can be something else going on.the neurologist asked me to see if I get better or worse and then he will call me for an MRI but he thinks MS seems unlikely in my scenario.but my fear is of MS as my symptoms are a bit like that.it sometimes get slightly better for a week and then comes back with exertion.also it is not specific to any side.iam a very health conscious person and want to be healthy(who won't)to look after my little baby girl who is my life.iam only 29 and having sleepless nights worried sick abt this for the past 4.5 months.iam very very very depressed can anybody please help me abt what is happening to me?I sometimes think that I will collapse with worry and fear..please help me :-(

Hi and welcome to our family...

I totally agree with Lulu on this... Just step back and breathe... It's going to be ok... You should definetely talk to your doctor about your depression and your anxiety over this... Ask for a MRI so you can put your mind at ease...

Like Lulu said, if it is MS it's not the end of the world... With all the medications available now there are many people with MS who after their first symptoms never have any again... Our life expectancy is pretty much the same as someone without MS...

I know how scary this is for you as I've been in your shoes too... It's so hard when you know there is something wrong with you but nobody can tell you what it is... Just take one step at a time and you will be fine...

Please let us know what you find out and we are here for you...

I'll be praying,
Carol

You have painted yourself a frightening picture, without invesitgating all the possibilities.  From what you write here, you recognize that you have made yourself this way and now we need to find a way to help you regain some balance.

First, if it is MS let me tell you it is not the end of the world.  Any stereotypes you think you know about MS are probably not true.  So take some time to learn about the real face of MS.

You don't say how old your daughter is but was she born recently?  If so, you might talk to the doctor about the possibility of post-partum depression.  If she is old and you are past that point, you still need to talk to the doctors about your depression.  Don't let yourself sink down that dark hole - it can be very hard to get out.

See if this doctor will go ahead and order the MRI now so you can put this worry behind you or work through the other possibility that you really do have MS.  From what you are writing here, my gut instinct says it isn't MS but I am no doctor.

come back and ask all the questions you want.
be well,
Lulu
