hi laneylove- did Bob nail the question? This is a talk to have with his neurologist and any nurses that might be in the practice. You want to be sure of your options before getting pregnant. I honestly don't know about the side effects of gilenya on male or female fertiility and reproduction.

Not sure what the issue is, but if you are worried about some effect from the drug on sperm motility or morphology, you might want to have some collected ahead of time and frozen. I;m not sure how Gilenya would effect sperm production or counts, but a quick call to Novartis (8 7 7 4 0 8 4 9 7 4) should be able to answer any questions.
