Q for MS Mum's

Hi,

I am not diagnosed with MS - but have had many unexplained symptoms over last 10 years.  Am 5 months pregnant with my 3rd child and for the first part of pregnancy seemed to be 'symptom free'.  However, I have had the flu and a gastro type bug in the last week and feel that some of these symptoms have made a re-appearance.  I am wondering if re-lapses are very uncommon in pregnancy or if they can re-occur, especially if you get a virus, run down, etc.

Thanks.

Hi,
I'm a mum, but my children are 28 and 33!  The days of even remembering my pregnancies are long past.

From what I understand, pregnancy is wonderful for women with MS - it throws the whole disease into a quiet phase during the pregnancy but look out after birth because it can return with a vengeance.  If you have MS, perhaps the flu bugs are just taking longer to clear your sytem?

feel better and congratulations!
