How are you people, I have great news, In fact I'm dancing right now.....
...Ok, where was I, Oh yes, a new neurologist, a great one, a university professor, a doctor that spends one day in a week to consult with other great neurologists about atypical and complex patients. Yeah.. :) he visited me. he listened to me very patiently and studied results of all tests. I would expect as I tell him that I had positive VEP and involuntary movements, blurry vision that worsens in high temp he starts to write down the Rx and makes his diagnosis as CIS  and 80% MS but his face was so cool.
Ok let me continue my dance for awhile... :)
Yes, where was I, Ok he said I have two plaques in MRI but the good news is he said I do not need any medication right now. He said that I only have to get a thyroid test and also I have to get another  MRI in 4 months and compare it to my current MRI. I said what is the chance of me having MS....
Yes, What do you think he said, 80%? wrong! 50% wrong again!
he said 20-30% in 10-15years from now. remember previous neurologist said that I have CIS and 80% I have MS and I have to get LP and start interferon if LP was positive!
huge difference!!!! I'm relieved to a great extent. I virtually had closed my business. I was canceling all my fabulous future plans. I was planning for my funeral but now here we go again. business as usual.
and a word to god..."I love you GOD, I knew you never do it to me. how did I score in your test... not astonishing I guess but I will do much better in other tests that dose not involve health, ok , I love you and you know it"
I'm a man of my word. I will seriously plan to enter  medical school beside getting a PhD in my current major.
Don't think I'm bluffing, I have done some things in my life(more than one) that others would say it is absolutely and totally impossible! So just wait a few more years(I can finish medical school in 5-6 years because I have passed some general courses) I will destroy this disease once for all. If you want to laugh. laugh. It is XMAS for god sake. but if one day you heard an Ex-Engineer killed this disease don't tell me nobody told us!!! Just pray for me! I love you god and I love you people and thanks for the support when I was pretty much down. I'm sure I will come here and give you more good news after I got my thyroid test and second MRI test!

Merry Christmas, and you are very welcome! Now listen.  I know you are feeling mighty high and have a whole new outlook on your future now.  But, remember this my friend "you had it all along." You just didn't see it!  (You been watching "It's a Wonderful Life" or somethintg? ha/ha)  And, I'm happy this appt. and Dr. did this for you!

I'm not so sure of the quoted stats above though.  I think they are off, and you can read up on them in our HPs when you are ready. But, you can always play the odds, it's a personal choice.

It's always wonderful when life's purpose show's itself - no matter how it's made visible.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and feelings with us Engineer.  I hope you stay apart of us.  You go get this disease durrnit, you'll get no objections here!!!!!!!

Well, just look at you!!  I would dance with you, but the legs are not being cooperative...hahaha!!

I am happy for you and hope all the positives keep coming your way.  I like what Laura put, Dr. Engineer!!!!

Don't hurt yourself with all that happy dancing!  Sprained ankles are really painful and take forever to heal.

So this is good news and I know the relief you are putting out. Just remember, if the diagnosis does change back to MS, it WILL NOT KILL YOU.  I'm making no early plans for the grave and neither are the rest of us here.  Are you still having the LP done?  

Your joy is contagious - it makes me want to get up and dance with you - ok, I'll stand up from my desk and twist or watusi a bit for you!  Keep being happy but please be aware of your symptoms and don't let them slide if you find them back.
