Tattoos and MS....

So I have kind of an odd question...I've gotten tattoos before and usually within a couple of minutes it doesn't hurt anymore. My last one was 6 years ago before I had any symptoms of anything....the last one in fact was on my low back. Due to that moment of stupidity, I am having it covered up with another tattoo, in exactly the same place. It hurt SO bad this time, I had to take frequent breaks. Could MS make getting a tattoo hurt more than it did before? Trying to figure out if it could be that, or if the guy is just a bad tattooer....

I just got a tattoo in May and wish I had pick a better tattoo artist because It scarred and turned out like crap. Even if I have it lased off the scars will still be there, maybe even worst. I am bummed! On Copaxone, but don't think this had anything to do with a bad tattoo job.

There are times when I feel my skin is hypersensitive to touch, and I believe that is connected to my MS.  But I can't say for sure.  Good luck with covering the bad choice - I hope you like the new one better.

It probably could be either.

I wouldn't be surprised if MS can make you more hyper-sensitive to things, but who knows, maybe the guy is a lousy tattoo artist.
