I see they chose a name nice and easy to pronounce, I say with absolutely no hint of sarcasm. (Yeah, right.)
So what are the big scary risks and side effects with this med? It seems like the approved oral meds seem to have some huge risk of death or something.
I'd don't really care to take any meds, but I particularly hate stabbing myself with a giant needle.
Why can't they pick names like Alice or Fred? I'm looking forward to March 28, the date the FDA is supposed to issue its edict on Tecfidera (The DMD formerly known as BG-12).
While I dodged the JCV>PML bullet this last time around, my doc says I/m a prime candidate for the new med. While I'll miss my Sunday's with RN Mary in the infusion center, I'd rather just take a pill :-)
