Got MS dx this week from Neuro.
Saw PCP who is amazing and found all this within weeks 7 weeks of first seeing him.
He gave me great advice and I finally got Baclofen since Soma for 3 months from my other doc was not working (obviously).
Got brain MRI report showing "several lesions" so I am on the hunt for more info and learning, learning, learning.
See Neuro in 4 weeks!

Monday – Left Portland to go back home (SF Bay Area).
Tuesday – Went back to work.
Wednesday – Nothing special.
Thursday – I see my Neurologist today to go over the spinal MRI I had last week. I need to talk to him about my rapid heart beat I had yesterday and this horrible itching I’m experiencing.
Friday – I see my naturopathic doctor to discuss nutritional options.
Well, unrelated to MS, my little angel/Chunky Monkey will be 6 months old, this Friday. MY, HOW TIME FLIES!!! I'm so grateful that, even though I may have some really bad days, I'm still able to care for my precious blessing and get the joy of seeing his smiling face every day. :)
On Thursday I have a follow-up on my Upper GI that was abnormal. :))
I had to cancel my previous appt because of the ice storm we had. Also Physical therapy M-W-F.
I'm going camping with the family. :) ~Sunnytoday~
Thank God I called in this morning; PCP finally called back, and got an earful. He's going to try to have a heart-to-heart with the neuro today, and be back in touch.
This is a little belated, but it wasn't planned. I had to go in to have the epidural blood patch yesterday at the ER for the post LP headaches and nausea. I am recovering at home today like a good little patient.

It looks as though I'll spend the beginning of the week still trying to wrestle information from doctors. I'm disappointed that two weeks have passed since the last of my tests, yet no plans for anything else have been suggested. Oh, the neuro is interested in testing to confirm the carpal tunnel that he claimed I have. Don't know why; I don't think he's a surgeon, and it certainly gives me so little trouble that I don't believe it exists, anyway. I'm also somewhat irritated that my PCP hasn't been in touch, with the calls and faxes I've placed, but one of his staff took some time with me today to hint that he might call me tomorrow, and that all the delay is the neuro's fault. Sorry; I'm ranting again, aren't I? Past bedtime anyway. Peace & blessings to all.
Hello. I am on my 2nd week of Copaxone and doing great. I get pain for about 5-10 minutes and then life is back to normal. I am so glad Copaxone is not giving me any reactions and the injections are not as hard I thought they would be. If I knew this, I would have started earlier! I have no symptoms at the moment.
I hope everyone is having a great week. Happy Valentine's Day too everyone.
sorry, I forgot to say my appt. is thursday.....

I have my appt. with the new ms specialist, this is not to switch docs, just to get my next mri on the 3t machine and see what were going to do about me staying on Tysabri...

I had a followup to review my MRI films with my neuro today (Monday) and the 7T MRI - I wrote separate posts about the machine and the test.
