does anybody else feel this??

hello, hope everyone is doing well today.  i was wondering if there was anyone else who feels like they are being stung by insects.

sometimes when i am bending over or doing work around the house i feel like a horse fly is biting me, intense insect bite but i swat and there is never anything there.  there are never bites or itching afterwards to indicate there was actually something there.

i feel like i am going crazy but wondering if maybe this is some weird parathesia. it mostly happens when i am really hot, like outside in the 100 degree weather here in VA.   just wondering if anyone else had this.  maybe i am crazy !!!

(i am not diagnosed with MS, just a possibility right now and i have had symptoms for 4 years.)

I don't have it like that, only had stinging along w/burning. In ref. to MS it sounds like steph says, parathesia.

Hi Rachel,

I'm also undx, having had sx for 8 years now.  I also get the bite/sting feeling.  I've started getting it on my left leg with different touches.  The dog licked my foot this morning and I felt a "insect bite" sensation.  Luckily it's short lived.

Yes, I also assume weird parasthesia.
