Another excellent resource

I was researching something and came across the Merck Manual online again.... this comprehensive medical manual for professionals have explanations for just about everything you can think of.  The best part is the online version is free to access -

the section on neurological patients begins here - take the spaces out of the address:

It's amazing to find all this information for free - hopefully everyone will be encouraged by how user friendly it is and look up some of the terms they question.  Its a wonderful resource that I used aa lot with my heart stuff and coming across it again prompted this reminder.

I used to use this all the time as a research coordinator for a surgeon while trying to submit applications.  It's surprisingly layman-friendly.

Yeah, this is always a winner.  Wehn I was in training you never saw an Internist or Internal Medicine resident without the red Merck Manual in his white coat pocket.
