oops I did it again....

First thanks for birthday wishes, and virtual pressies.
Mixed wine and meds again.  Do I ever learn?  I need to choose whether to be a wino or a druggie.  Druggie is better, more pain relief.
Work tomorrow and can't find the start time.  Off to a good start then.  What if I oversleep anyway?  And I need to take the next two afternoons off for hospital appointments.  Anyone want to start placing bets on how long I'll last?
Rear end still set on vibrate, is strangely pleasurable, if a little unnerving (pun).  Can't be ar..d to mention it to my neuro ('nother pun), no-one takes me seriously anyway.
Tops of legs all but seized up at back.  Bladder on strike.  Brain...well you've probably guessed.
But had a good enough birthday overall.  Vacantly shopping and then unconscious, about as good as it gets!  Going to get cracking on my trillions of pending complaint letters as not safe to sleep with this 'cocktail' in me.
Need to train as a lawyer, get paid for what I do for nothing.  I argue as a lifestyle choice, am born for the job.  Not a born medic that's for sure, but they'll find that out tomorrow, again, as my last job, and my last and....you know I've lost count.  Why do they keep taking me back?  Must be doing something right, or they like employing weirdos.  Hmm?

read your birthday thread; you're right, Quix's present was the tops!  The poem was great, too, as was the rest of the outpouring of well-wishes and celebrations, even by Google!

OK, now I'm finally going to bed.  It feels much later than it is here, and I need to recharge my batteries.

OMG, I didn't realize that you were actually starting work tomorrow, er, today, whatever.  Gosh, I hope it goes well.  Wouldn't that be something?  If you showed up and everything just clicked; you liked the people and they liked you, you were able to do the job and do it well, the boss understands about doctor's appointments, and you of course first manage to show up on time!

I don't think I gave you a pressie except for alerting the unaware to your upcoming birthday, though I had the day off by one.  I'll have to search out the thread and read your poem and what Quix's present was.

I wish I could send you a really good day, where everything goes right.

Hugs,

Kathy

Am still awake.

Pressies are presents.  And someone promised me one which never came.  They know who they are.

Quix won the award for the best present, she got better, but lulu came a close second with her poetry, and reminding everyone I was even older than they thought!
Everyone else's presents were lovely, but want more, MORE.  I need my birthday to last all week now, hell why not make it last all year.  Christmas is too stressful, rather have lots of birthdays.

Thank you for your wishes Jo.

Would be a disaster if I fell asleep right.....zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Wish,
I have this horrible feeling that you are once again going to oversleep and miss an important function like yesterday's luncheon!  Good luck at the job today/tomorrow - whatever time zone you are in.

Jo - pressies I believe would be the presents that Wish wished she had opened from all of us sending her good thoughts and bday wishes.
