pain in thighs and tail bone area

Oh are my upper legs starting to give me problems. I have AFO's and took them off to see if that would help but my legs are all over the place with knee hyperextension.  My thighs wear out so quickly now.  That is new in the last 3 weeks.

So is the tail bone pain I am having.  Is that an MS thing?

Thanks you girls!

For getting around I am going to look for some sort of scooter. Not one of those really heavy expensive ones but something I can take with me without having to leave someone at home in order to do it!

LA,
Your post makes me think that you are going to be ok with all the changes that come your way - and for that matter I will be ok too!

I'm working on the 80% rule - about 20% of my life s ucks right now, but that leaves 80% that is pretty darn good. How can I complain about a percentage that high?  It sounds like you've got a pretty high percentage going for you too, despite all the changes being forced on you thanks to this MiSerable disease.

Allow yourself to grieve for the changes you are going through - its only natural.  And then get on with acknowledging all that is good in your life.

be well,
Lulu

Yes I have been sitting much more lately. That is probably it. I am having the worst time getting up the steps now.

We went to the lake after a soccer game today so the kids could play on the play ground and I had to sit and watch as they walked along the water with my husband.

My hips and thighs felt like I'd been doing a bunch of lunges and they were just wore out and burning. :{

I have never felt sorry for myself, not too much anyhow, but I could not help but cry some.

Last year at this time I accepted the dx and thought whatever,,I am just going to go on with my life. Well I have found out it is not just as easy as that unfortunately.

Things do progress and change your life.  I am sad about it. Sad about today. Our realtor said we might as well take out house off of the market for now. NOTHING in this town is selling for what it is worth.

We want a ranch style home. We are in a tri level. We will just have to make it work for now.

There are great things and answers to prayers happening in our life right now also.  A long estranged relationship seems to be on the mend!  So that is wonderful.  Life is not all crummy!  :-}

Hey LA,

Daggonnit, you really don't get much of a break huh?

Well, I'm leaning toward no as it being MS related - but that's just my guess.  I get the tailbone pain bigtime from sitting.  If it's more than usual, then even when I'm laying it's horribly painful.

If you are getting sensations in your tailbone or buzzing, or numbness w/out soreness or achey then I'd think it was MS related.

You been sitting more since your legs are giving you troubles?

I said thigh pain but what I should have said was extreme weakness in my thigh....so I answered my own question there but I am still wondering about the tail bone soreness.

It is not a pain like I am in agony but just an ache like I am bruised.
