yet, another update !!!!

Just to let you guys know what is going on.  My days have not got  better, and I was so discouraged with the day yesterday, so I called the original Dr. that ordered the steroids, and she said " you are kidding, right"   I said, " NOPE" ..... anyways, she put me on steroids for 3 days orally, then I don't have to wait any longer.  I have 13 pills to take at breakfast, and 12 to take at lunch, and that should about do me in for the day, have that to do for 3 days, so I will be out of commission for a day or two , I think.  I will let let you know how it is going, if I am up to it.

well, we are starting after breakfast, not sure what will happen, but wanted to get a good nights sleep before I started.  

So, after breaky, 13 pills, then lunch 12 and do this for 3 days..... and see what happens....

I will keep the saltines handy, and tums too, and will take them for sure after I eat and with milk apparently that helps.

So, don't know if I will be back on for a few days, so, if not, will let you know how things went after it is over.

Yes, I am glad to hear you called your Dr. and she is helping you! That is a lot of steroids wowee!!! I'd most likely get sick to my stomach... I'd have to buy stock in saltines :)

I wish for you better days Candy.  What do the steroids do for you?  I'm new at this, suspected but neuro consult not for 10 days yet.  Getting more tired and weak and tingly with each passing say....the hotter and more humid, the worse it is.  By Friday morning, I'm beat and have to drag myself to work.   It's a struggle to get up showered and dressed and usually on the weekends, that's all i have the energy to do.   I'm hoping the docs can help me with energy.   I'm thinking steroids might do that and thinking might be put on injections too.  Good luck to you.   Just wonder if you could share what steroids have done for you in the past.

Candy, it's good news to hear that you have the steroids started.  Be sure to have something handy to soothe your stomach.  That many pills can be rough on your digestion.
