Definitely B12. I was just diagnosed last week and will be starting injections next week. I exhibited just about every symptom of the deficiency, including: pain, tingling fingers, fatigue, weakness, etc... My level was 130. My pain management doctor actually told me to get the blood test. I'm hoping I'll notice a difference in about 4-6 weeks... there is hope!
Very interesting site, competitor. You get points. :)
Go to Fitday.com, and type/log in your diet, then click on "reports", it will tell you all the RDA values/Vitamins and Minerals you are getting, and if you are deficient or well over the RDA values. It's a great tool.
Yes frootbar. On the money. You hit the jackopot. B-12 deficiency is a good possibility. There a couple of other possibilities but B-12 is a good guess. It's not that you don't take in enough in food, but often there is an absorbtion problem. Of course if you take B-12 you also need folic acid. The B-12 injections are best, but sublingual B-12 should not be dismissed. You really need a good work-up by an M.D., though. There are many other potential causes.
possibly B-12, especially the tingling/prickling, should get that tested if possible.
but all over, hmm, not sure. and painful muscles, possibly but again, you should
likely get an MD to work this up and find out.
