17 with complex ovarian cyst with multiple septations

My 17 yr old daughter is experiencing severe pain and was just diagnosed with a complex ovarian cyst with multiple septations (the cyst is 46 mm X 47 mm).  The cyst is currenlty hemorragin.

We went to the emergency room twice this week and both times they told us not to worry, that this cyst did not require surgery. They gave her pain meds and booked an ultrasound in two months.

I am worried as this does not sound normal to just sit and wait.  What do you think or suggest ?

Yes, she got pain killers and we are seeing a gynecologist this Thursday,  But she is still feeling some pain and is loosing her appetite (I'm thinking it might be the pain killer).

Many doctors will wait to see if the cyst resolves itself.  Did they give her anything for pain?  Can you see your own gynecologist?
