I had hot flashes (I am peri-menopausal but the hot flashes dropped dramatically after surgery leaving one ovary) and itchy skin with my cysts. I can't recall if I had fatigue but I do know that with the extreme pain (was on percocet) that it did tire me out.
Before I found out about my dermoids I was extremely exhausted.. I even started feeling mentally foggy and my speech began to slur. After the surgery I felt so clear minded and brand new.
I also have hot flashes most times n I constantly have fevers. Sometimes i feel really cold n then i get really hot!
Not sure what happened, but I guess if you push the wrong button you can vote for a best answer. I think ALL of your responses are awesome. Thanks for answering.
November1188, do you have surgery scheduled? I am the same as you. I find it so hard to get going during the day. I have only been up a few hours and feel as if I need a nap already. I know exactly what you mean on the bad hot flashes. They are dirving me CRAZY!!
I've actually been really tired lately and my body also hurts constantly. My skin has also been a bit itchy lately and dry.
hey marie, I am really exhausted, sleep all the time, but my biggest complaint is back pain, severe bloating, mild headaches and severe nausea and heartburn...Do you get that at well. I feel like such a whinner to my husband, but I just feel so sick on and off all day. I go this wed to my gyny, to see if this complex cyst is cancerous or not I guess I am borderline and they need to go in and find out forsure. Please write me back, I have ask this to so many people here and no one will answer me....thanks.....virginia
Virginia, I am so sorry you are going through all of this crap too. It stinks. The pain we have to deal with is so bad. Like you, I feel so bad complaining to my husband, that is why I get on here a lot. I am a bit surprised that your doctor said he is going to be able to tell you if your cyst is cancerous (is he doing a needle biopsy) without taking it out and biopsying it. That is the only true way to know if your cyst is cancerous or not (that is what I have been told by all of my doctors that I have seen). Good luck at your doctors appointment. Please let us know how it goes.
