Is that 1 1/2 weeks, months or years?  I can tell you that for the first few months after my surgery I had extreme PMS and heavy duty peri-menopausal symtpoms (hot flashes, mood swings, night sweats, etc.).  Eventually my other ovary kicked in and everything levelled out.
