Do ask your GP for something for pain if you need it. Let us know how it goes.
Hi.
Thanks. That sounds painful thinking about it. This cyst sounds freaky... this thing growing that isn't supposed to be. I won't know until Sept 23rd what the doctor wants to do after she sees my 2nd ultrasound. My guess is surgery because it is so big. That makes sense about the pain. Today has been the worst. Not a bad pain... just pressure. At first, it hurt only when I pressed on my side... which was in July. I found out about this on Aug 20th, This past week, it has been more often. Then today with my cycle starting... holy cow! It hurt to walk home. I can't wait until the 23rd to hear the doctor's plan. I just want this thing out of me. I don't care if they have to remove the ovary too or not. Whatever is best.
Your pain can definitely change over time. The cyst could be getting larger or your internal organs may have shifted and now the cyst is pushing on something different. It's also possible that it may be due to endometriosis and with a cycle that can increase the pain. Are you having surgery?
