PVCs and Surgical Menopause

I've posted here before and I'm looking for any females that might have experience the following. I recently had surgery to remove a basketball size cyst. They also found two other type cyst in me during surgery. They removed my right ovary and part of my left ovary. I still have all other female organs. Surgeon says i dont have to go on hormones because i still have some left ovary left. I am 6 weeks post surgery and have developed severe pvcs. I havent gotton my period yet. Could i be going through surgical menopause and could these pvcs be linked to this surgery? I've seen two doctors so far and neither seem to be concerned with my pvcs (my cardio and my gyn drs). I'm really worried something is being missed and this could developed into something serious (heart disease). And if i'm not going through surgical menopause how long will it take before i get another period? I actually had my period at time of surgery.

thanks for your response. yes, i am referring to heart problems....my heart keeps skipping beats. i've read several articles where they said hormonal problems could cause pvcs. i've been experiencing cramping but no period is coming on yet. i figure it could take awhile before my period gets back into a new cycle. also, before having the surgery i use to have very heavy and painful periods. i was told that my periods should be much lighter now....hope this turns out to be true! i'm more concerned right now with these darn annoying and scary skipped heart beats.

When you say pvcs are you meaning heart trouble?  Your doctor is right that you won't need hormones.  It can take a few months but the remaining piece of ovary will eventually start producing the required hormones.  In the mean time you will experience peri-menopausal symptoms.
