cyst and mass

My doctor said that my cysts on right ovary and mass on left ovary have attached to the cuff wall. I had a partial hysterctomy in 2006 but they lefy ovaries, now the think that is a great possibility that it's ovarian cancer. I have alot of lower pain and alot of upper right side pain. My questions are:

Is it normal to attach to the cuff wall?
How long does it take to get ca-125 results?
Is it normal to have so much upper right side pain? (gallbladder has been removed)
Which surgery is the safest to remove ovaries that have cyst and masses on them? I worry about cancer cells getting released into my blood stream.

I'm just a nervous wreck. This waiting game is horrible.
Ultra sound revealed 4 cystic lesions on right ovary that contain internal echoes due to hemorrhagic component or solid lesion.
Left ovary has a complex mass with a solid component
I am gassy, beching alot, and frequent urination.
Lots of pain!

My brother has renel and thyroid cancer and my mother has lymphnoma, so family history could be why the doctor suspects cancer. She also stated that after the pelvic exam and vaginal ultrasound results it was bilateral and complex and it was attaching itself to the cuff as well as my other symptoms all leaned toward cancer. I just don't understand the upper right quadrant pain though.

Thanks for reading my post and supporting my worries.

Hi, I'm sorry you are in such pain.  Did the doctor tell you what makes him think "the possibility of cancer" is stronger?  I didn't understand why he said that.
There is no "normal" in these situations.  Everyone is different.  Adhesions do happen frequently, but it is not indicative of cancer.  It's just something that happened to you.
The type of surgery will depend on many different factors, mostly relating to your personal history.  The least invasive surgery is done laproscopically with tiny incisions in your abdomen.  They may also consider an open surgery, (due to the size of the cyst, and other health related factors).  This is what I had done, and I am healing very well.

Hi,
Sorry you are going through so much pain , cysts can cause really awful pain depending where they are , they press on different structures , the bladder , uterus etc .I don,t think it takes that long to process a ca125 blood test it just depends how fast the lab are and their work load,  mine have been back in a day . Im sorry I cant answer all your questions but someone should be along soon with more knowledge . Iknow the waiting game is horrible and I was anxious too when I played the same waiting game , I hope you get relief soon and wish you the best of luck .

Take care Angie
