Ovarian cysts and fibroids

Hi all, I hope someone can offer some advice for me. I went to the ER last Friday night for bleeding heavily over a week and abdominal pain. The doc found 3 fibroids, an ovarian cyst and a pollyp and to call my OB on Monday. I went on Monday and was hospitalized. The doc only found 1 fibroid but wasn't concerned so he let me go. I don't trust the sonogropher who did the ultrasound because she was new. He didn't see any other reason for the pain. The bleeding has stopped but the pain is still there and severe. What do I do now? Any  help is appreciated.

Hi,
I have to agree with Trudie.. Try to get another TVUS.. You need to find out why you are in pain.

Good luck and let us know how it goes,
Sandy

That is a tough one.  You might want to go to your GP, express your concerns, and see if he will schedule another transvaginal ultrasound to be sure there isn't something there.  He could run a regular ultrasound at the same time to ensure the pain is not coming from somewhere else.  Good luck.  Please keep us posted.
