I have been having ovarian cysts for a yr and half now and most every time they are on my right side. My ob did US and said there are 2 cyst fluid filled one 2cm and the other 2.6cm he said they are nothing to worry about we would just watch them. Well after that my pap came back and I have irregular cells and have to have colposcopy done Jan 18th. With the cysts on the right side i have been having pain and some days why more pain than I care to have. OB sent me to GI they did colonoscopy that came back with irritation he said from use of Ibprophen. Im still off and on having pain (right side). I also have lost 25 to 30 lbs in 3 months now and have bouts of diarrhea, I feel bloated after I eat, some months i have 2 cycles, oh yea the pap was mild displysia. sorry if this is back and forth just have been dealing with prbs and not gettin anywere and need help what to do. It just seems like i have more days of pain and a lot of time I just suck it up and deal with it cuz I have to. I know there is something going on just not sure what the prb is and its driving me crazy.. Could someone please help me as what I should do now.....

Yes and no with the Ibuprofen I did take over alot of yrs for pain mostly breast prbs my dr at the time told me to take 800 to 1000 mg for pain now I have leaned to deal with alot of the pain that I have or that comes and goes. I have been noticing that my side hurts more when I strech like something is being pulled on that right side just the last day or so and that I get shooting pain from right above my pubic bone (bout 6in) that goes across to the right ovary area. I will tell him that I want that test done and Im thinking just go in and see what all the prbs are with a laperoscopy or something. Iam just so sick of being in pain and knowing there is something not right. I want answers and I want them now. This is puttin a strain in my life i work 2 jobs one being my externship (part time) and at time it can be very hard to do my job and i work  a full time job as well. I just want a pain free life has some sort of prb for all most 10ys now.  thanks 4 ur help nikki

The Pap test results and the cysts are unrelated conditions, but the cervix needs to have those bad cells removed.  It would be a golden opportunity to also have cysts removed at the same time.

It is possible you have caused some GI troubles with Ibuprofen (do you take a lot of Ibuprofen?) due to all the pain.

CA-125 tests for elevated levels of a cancer tumor marker and is an indicator of ovarian cancer.  Not reliable, but can help doctors determine just how much trouble a cyst is truly causing.

My OB said that it should be the cause of pain it is intestinal. Not really sure how long Iv had these cysts because I keep gettin told that they have ruptured gone to hospital 3x's over last yr and half and same thing every time a cyst ruptured and causing extreme pain. (more than normal pain). What is a CA-125 test?? the GI dr thought I had Crohn's but now he dont few months ago my mom was told she has Celiac's. the ob dr did few blood test 4 it and the GI dr said that was enough for him cuz at the time he said he was sure that it was Crohn's but that came back not true so IDK. I go Jan 18th for a colposcopy so i will talk with my ob then and see what he say and ask for the CA-125. thanks for ur help.

Cysts that size can definitely cause you pain and cause bowel issues.  You've had these for a long time and they are still causing you issues.  Insist on a CA-125 test (not that it is very reliable but can be valuable in a diagnosis) and if it were me I'd be insisting they do a laporascopic surgery to remove them.  They can't tell for sure what type of cyst they are and you are in pain.  Time for them to take action.
