ct scan shows something I've never heard of!

Hi all! I had a quick question. I have a mass on my left ovary and 4 cyst on my right. Both have solid components. Those results were from my vaginal ultrasound. My ct scan says that a retroaortic left renal vein can be seen. What in the world is that? I don't go for my 2nd vaginal ultrasound until Thursday. I would appreciate any feedback. I am stumped!

Hi... Did you "search" it ??   Just on computer..not on here. Just put "retroaortic left renal vein" in the "search" or Google and see what comes up.. I'm with Silver and Gold.. I know Renal is Kidney, retro is "behind" or "backwards" .. but that's as far as I get with it .. sorry... Good luck
