Pain

Hello I have been having pain now for over 11/2 yrs know starting from the low left side moving to lower part of my back it hurts me so bad know to the poing I can be working at work and I have to sit down but when I sit down the paing is sharp stabbing to the left lower side. I have had sonographs done and been to see a urology and ua cultures done paps smears and all of that was normal I have been to three different doctors starting with a Internal Medicine Phyusician to another Internal Physician and she recommended a Gynecology that did nothing but gave  me pain meds am not the one to take heavy pain meds because you sleep and wake up and the pain is still there So know I am battling with this pain I work  with kidney and liver patients and I am trying to figure out if this is my ovaries bothering me because no one never checked them I was told by one of the doctors I had a cysts  but never did seek other alternatives because he said it was small I know that is not normal so am basically tired of going to this one and having tests done and everyone is telling me they are normall when I feel bad. Really Please help me Need you opinions.

I agree with Trudie. You need to see a gynecologist and have them do the transvaginal ultrasound and take a look. Something is going on, could be cysts, could be endometriosis.  Let us know!

I'm so sorry you are hurting.  It does sound like a cyst problem but could be something else.  You need to get the cyst issue ruled out.  Insist that your doctor do a transvaginal ultrasound to take a look and then force the follow up.  On the health pages (top right) is a posting on types of cysts and symptoms that you might want to take a look at it.  Good luck and please keep us posted.
