Hello Tubby,
Welcome to MedHelp's Pain Management Forum. I am glad that you found us and took the time to post....but I am sad to hear about your increasing chronic pain.
I don't know a lot about dentistry....or the problems associated with it. I do know about chronic pain. I had a root canal some years ago and the pain continued, though not as extreme. Finally I consulted another dentist and discovered the root canal was was complete, even though I had paid for it and the dentist capped the tooth. Imagine my anger after spending 1.5k and now having to repeat it. So just to be safe you may want to consult another dentist...or oral surgeon.
In the mean time I hope your pain is being managed. I've had a tooth pain before and know how horribly painful that can be. Please be assertive and request pain management.
