I am currently taking 1500 mg of Methyldopa a day. My blood pressure has been elevated since my frist pregnancy 2 1/2 yrs ago when I had preeclempsia - -until then I never had issues with blood pressure. We recently just started "trying" again. I got pregnant the first time only 6 weeks after being married -- it's now been several months and just wondering if other women have had issue or take longer to get pregnant while on this medication.
I have a great hotline for questions like that but its here in Utah. They seem to know about alot of medication/pregnancy questions. Its 1-801-FAT-BABY. I was on some questionable meds and called this hotline. I would try it.
