that is so funny, I am a total country girl and Connor is worried the baby will be to. He says hes going to make a cd for her to listen to as well. HA we'll see!!

Yeah Jeremy keeps saying he is gonna make a CD, I'm sure it will be full of all the HE*LL raising music, he would add Skynard and Steve Earl to your DH's mix! LOL

LOL Kiki...I read that same thing when I was reading about playing music.  It said you can shine the flashlight during the afternoon to keep them up and then they "should" sleep during the night...YEAH RIGHT!  I thought about trying it because Reece is still waking me up on HIS schedule...but I think I'd look a little stupid sitting at work with a flashlight strapped to my belly, LOL!

On another note...about the music.  I read where you play classical music and lullabies.  Well, DH said his boy wasn't going to be a sissy...he needs to listen to CCR, Hank, Jr., etc.  Well, I let him participate and burned a CD with what he wanted...Reece was fine until the last song (which I can't remember what it was now)...he went to kicking and punching.  So, he loved it or hated it!  I'm going out and buying some Baby Einstein CDs to let Reece listen to.  They are "baby" classical and lullabies.

HAHA He finally felt her!!!!!!! It was so funny, we were argueing ( just play) over it he was telling me you "can't" feel it on the outside, the only reasin I though I felt it was b/c I could feel it on the inside, I was getting heated she was kicking so hard my stomach was bouncing! Then I grabbed his hand and said YOU CAN"T FEL THAT! about that time she whopped him twice! His eyes got huge, and said I did, o and again, well when I grabbed his hand it was his left, this whole time he had been trying with his right, I guess where he works with them so much his right is less sensative!

We both laughed and cried a little, it was great!

Also I read where you can shine a flashlight on your belly and the baby will start responding around 25-26 weeks! We tried it and Addy went crazy kicking at it, I am so mean I'm already tormenting my little girl! LOL Anyways I think it said their retinas are now formed and they can see in the womb, so the flash light will illuminate things in there!

good luck tomorrow hkenny can't wait to see pic, and kiki your not alone my lil princess (sry have to call her that until we decide on a name...) has her days and nights way off as well, she doesn't move nearly as much during the day and as soon i lay down same thing, acts like its play time and i get no sleep bc once i wake up from it if i go to sleep i'm wide away and then when she slows down i'll start to go back to sleep and then then alarm clock goes off for work.....blah........ but i guess i should get use to it lol

I go for my 3D tomorrow!! SOOOOOOOO excited!!  I will be 25 weeks, I had it scheduled for 27 weeks but they had to chance it and I didnt want it later. She told me when I book anywhere from 24-28 weeks is the best. Hopefully thats true.

Widsmom- we had a very very hard time with names, there was nothing we liked and i was getting worried she wouldnt have a name when she is born. I bought a new name book and we found one. I woudlnt worry once you find the right name you will know. I know its kinda stressful though. at least it was for me!!

I accidently slipped and told my mom her name.......part of the reason we werent going to tell was b/c i had told my mom a few names and the one we are going with she said she didnt like, anyways i reffered to the baby using her name and my mom was like um you just told me her name.......****> at home the hubby and I just call her by her name so i never thought about it. Mom said it will grow on her plus her middle name is my moms name so she cant hate that!

WOW! I think everyone is doing a 3d/4d I can't wait.

So I was freaked out yesterday because Addy didn't move ALL day or eve. I listened with my doppler and all sounded fine, but still a little nervous, well then when I went to bed she thought it was playtime, LOL so I guess all is fine she just has her days and nights way off.... LUCKY ME!

I did read though they start slowing down a little at 26 weeks, b/c they are getting so much bigger, aprox. 2 pounds, we will see on the 2nd if she is within that range!

Hi all.....
I had my appointment yesterday, 24 weeks now, everything (thank God) was fine. I might have my 3D us at 28 weeks, my doctor advised on doing it at 32 weeks when the babys features are well developed but alot of my friends say its much clearer between 26-29 weeks...plus I dont think I can wait that long ; )
I did have a quick peek at a 3D us at 19 weeks it was amazing but of course she was so small then, so I cant wait to see how she looks now.
I'm way behind planning evrything, its just that I'm too busy with work at the time and whatever time I have left I'm too tierd to do anyhting. I did buy baby clothes, but haven't bought any furniture yet, I dont think I'll need alot cuz my baby girl is going to share her sister's room. but I guess I SHOULD start looking for cribs
My baby shower unforfunetally will be after the baby comes, becuz my mom and some of my sisters live in another city and they wont be able to come except at the time of delivery, so we'll have it later. (another reason to stop me from getting everything becuz I'll be getting some gifts then).
As for the names aaaaaaahhhhhh............. WE JUST CANT DECIDE
me, my dh and our older duaghter each have different names we like,  I might just do a name poll to check responses

We've been feeling our baby's movements as well as kicks for a while now too.  It's so amazing!!  Nothing wrong with crying about that!  When I think about it I tear up too!  I'm also finding registering and everything overwhelming.  This is my first baby and I assumed it'd be easy, but there's SO MUCH out there!  Just take your time, get advice on the best products from other mom's, and try to enjoy yourself!

kylesmom-glad everything has gone well!! i had my appointment today went well, blood pressure fine measuring 24weeks which is spot on :) found the HB straight away :)
Dont go back till 28weeks now.

I had an appt Fri. everything is going well and i measure right where i need to be.  We go back next month for glucose testing and one more 4 week appt at 27 weeks and then we start every two weeks.  This is our first so it is so exciting to realize how close everything is!!!!
Little one is moving constantly and we have been able to feel her movements and not just kicks.  It was sooo neat Fri night i happen to be pushing in on the top of my stomach and she actually pushed back.  It brought me to tears, but right now that is not hard to do :)
We have our first shower scheduled for March 14th, so we are starting to register for everything.  I hope i'm not the only one, but i am finding it completely overwhelming!!!  We are taking a long weekend this coming week and the DH and i are going to spens some quality time together.  It is much needed and we are so excited!!!

That's how the pregnancy spa is that I went to, WAY worth the money! we are going back toward the end of Feb so I will be like 28 or 29 weeks!

Jen~ 25 weeks isn't too early, i will have mine at 26weeks just b/c that's when the appointment falls! Some say just fast for 2 hrs, but others say NPO all night after midnight, my last PG it was all night this one says just 2 hours, kinda strang b/c it is supposed to be fasting, and technicall fasting is all night ( at least 8 hours) so I'm not sure.

I have been busy painting all weekend! The Nursery is looking great, still so much work to do, but we did find some ways to cut corners time wise, I said OMG I only have 11 more weeks, my nursery wont be done when she gets here! I was freaking a little :) I feel better now that I see the progress one weekend has made! I have pics to post of the transformation, I am a goober and am going way over board, painting wall murals (sp) and such. It will definately be one of a kind!

Fawn~ thant stinks about your suger, I am still hoping that part bypasses me, HTN is enough for me to stress over! Stay well!

I can't wait to start seeing the faces of our little ones 3D!!!

cyrena- that is what we are going too! i am so excited, we decided to jsut have hubby and i there as he wasnt able to come to my regular u/s. but the cool thing is they have life broadcasting so i just give all my family's emails and they can watch it live! pretty cool since the in laws are in a different city 3 hrs away. I am pretty excited about getting the dvd. i saw one of my nephew and its pretty cool. plus our babies will get to watch it when they are older now that is super cool!!

that sounds awesome cyrena...they dont have anything like that even remotely close to me, i think the closest is about 4 hours or so away....too long of a drive for me....lol

i will be happy enough if they can see the gender at the regular ultrasound. i will get one in a couple of weeks and then closer to delivery date...so there will be a couple of opportunities to find out in case it doesnt cooperate this time or whatever..lol

I've been having appointments every two weeks with my perinatologist to check my cervix for funneling.  Two weeks ago it was funneling a little, as of last Thursday it's behaving.  I'll go back two weeks from last Thursday to check it again.

Our baby boy has been kicking ALL the time.  He kicks the most when I lay down for bed between 10-11pm.  My BF came home late the other night and I was already in bed.  So he knelt down beside me and lay his head on my stomach just to see if the baby would move.  The baby kicked harder than he has ever kicked before right in the side of his Daddy's head!!  It was so hard we both were in shock and could not stop laughing!  It was like he was mad because his Daddy was invading his space!  LOL!!

I have a 3D ultrasound scheduled for March 7th when I'll be 29 weeks.  There's a place about an hour from where I live (www.sneakpeek4d.com) that specializes in 3D ultrasounds and they make it a special event for the mother to be.  They have these rooms where you and your significant other along with how ever many of your family members you want can go in and spend an hour watching the ultrasound.  They have couches and a huge projection screen.  They offer different packages to where you can get a DVD of the entire ultrasound, pictures of the baby, pictures of your group, etc.  I CANNOT wait!!  I'm taking my BF and 9 other family members!  Everyone's so excited!

well that ***** looks like everyone else was told not to eat within 2 hrs b4 the glucose test mine is at 9 am and i was told not to eat or drink ne thing after midnight the night b4 except water if needed and mornings is usually when i am starving lol

no appt's coming up til feb 13th then i will have to have my test done for GD all is great bf still hasn't felt baby move she likes to move more tat night when i'm TRYING to sleep lol i was at walmart today and some cashier told me to be careful lifting something bc she said looks like i could have this baby today so i'm not sure how i take that yet, although i've said from the beginning i'm huge this time around and onlly gained 6 lbs so far lol and we have started the nursery and still debating on 3 names :) hope everyone else is great!
