deceleration of heartbeat?

I am 36w+1d today. Yesterday I had a doctor's appointment and she asked for ctg. However, there was a deceleration of baby's heartbeat though the average was abut 135beats/sec. The test was done again after giving me 1 hr of oxygen. Then the heart rate was fine but there was no movement. My Dr said the baby might be sleeping. However I was kept under observation for the night and then the repeat ctg in the morning came fine.

Did any other mom has deceleration too?

Hi everyone -

Please, anything personal between farhana and any other member doesn't belong in this thread.

Thanks,

Emily

EllaMari, your boy's heart is perfectly OK afterwards? Actually I have an ivf pregnancy
after 3 years of treatment and is freaking out at every negative possibility.

Thanks for your feedbacks. My ultrasound results were also good so that they discharged me in the morning. However I have to go for another ctg after 3 days. If anything wrong they will go for c-section, otherwise wait another two weeks or so.

My baby had a good baseline hr but a decelaration so they left it on for a bit longer. In the end they decided baby must have just puched on it's cord or something. They said it was fine and it happens sometimes. Ultrasound showed there was nothing to worry about.

Yeah, my son's hr did that too. He had been moving so my doctor sent me home. Hr was back up by the next appointment a week later. We didn't have to induce or anything. He was born perfectly healthy at 40 weeks!
