eating for before an induction

They told me not to eat anything past midnight before my 6 am induction. What's the difference if you est right before you go into labor? I don't get it. So tmrw I'm gonna be starving -.- I think I'm gonna eat anyways. If I get sick, I get sick

I ate at a buffet right before reporting to the hospital for my induction... I don't know why they told you not to eat!

i went my 26 hrs labor starvingggg i had a meal at 11pm and my water broke at 2 am so i didnt get to eat until after he was born .. i was miserableeee while my bf was eating in front of me lol
