Does this sound like an STD

About 4.5 days ago I  had unprotected sex.  Just this morning while going to the bathroom I noticed a clear discharge.  I have had this before and got diagnosed with prostatitis by a urologist in March.  Also, 2 days after the sex I noticed the rim around my penis was really dry.  Nothing else to report.  I am a 25 year old male.  Haven't had sex prior to this last time since August.

If "going to the bathroom" means a bowel movement, it's probably normal.  Many men notice small amounts of clear fluid from time to time, especially in the morning, and especially with bowel movements--which basically provides an internal massage to the prostate gland and seminal vesicles, squeezing out some fluid.  It's essentially the same stuff as pre-ejaculate fluid when sexually aroused.  If clear and not cloudy, and not associated with other symptoms, it's usually normal.

So most likely it is safe to sit tight and see what happens.  But if other symptoms appear or there are other changes, see your health care provider.
