elevated CRP

by twin_A, Sep 26, 2009 10:46PM
I believe that my 19 year old daughter has swine flu.  Some general lab work was done. All of them normal except:  CRP=54 mg/dl (normal range goes up to 10 mg/dl).  Sed Rate also slightly elevated (result 39).  Would this be seen in Swine Flu?

All of her symptoms pretty much are as expected....sore throat, muscle aches, fever low grade, headache, swollen lymph nodes, vomiting, fatigue

This doesn't sound like Swine flu to me. But I am no expert. How is she doing?

I hope you will share with us what her diagnosis is now. We all learn from one another.
