With my TSH of 4 I felt drastic symptom change .. I don't want to know what a 10.068 would be like for me LOL ...
I'm so glad you got the hard copies and got all ?'s answered .. this is such a learning curve isn't it :0

I just called the endo's office asnd spoke with the nurse.I asked my million questions! I feel satisfied with the answers
here are my current results-
TSH 10.068 (.35-5.0 lab range)
FT4 1.17 (.61-1.76)
T3 82 (85-205)
Not sure why not FT3 - is the reading of free T3 more important than plain old T3? i know the Ft4 is important.
I'm a bit relieved to see tsh down from from 39 on 2/3....
I guess it won'tbe too much longer til the normalcy comes back!!!
YIPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
me too, I insist on hard copies of ALL my tests ... I have them in one folder and if I end up at the Dr. (or with my kidney stones or gallstones in the ER) I have it all right there so there is no doubt in their mind what my history is and cannot be questionned ... in other words it is ready-access.
My Primary Doc follows my thryoid for me as a coordinator in my care .. I am so lucky to have a true primary care physician working with me .. they are hard to come by and it helps, too, that my Endo is the Endo HE recommended and he knows I went outside the club for Endo #2 opinion and Surgeon #2 opinion who I ultimately used.

my endo's office usually makes me come to the office for results and I get a hard copy. If I am having lab work done like a liver panel or vitamin b12 levels...I sometimes have to call and get those results, but the hard copy is still there for me to pick up or get at the next visit, if I like. I don't know if they always give patients copies...but she knows I want them so...shrug...the nurses just give them to me automatically without my having to ask...and believe me I WILL ask for a copy...anything in the medical record is my information and I am entitled to a copy.
Ummmmm yeah .. many are doing this stuff this awful way .... that was a big part of the reason I switched my primary doc .... they would send out a normal slip within 10 days of receiving the lab results.
In your case to be abnormal (high) and then have a med increase and NO CALL .. that goes beyond anything I've heard ??? Maybe I'm wrong ? My Endo calls me herself after office hours and always ends the conversation with, "Are you sure you don't have any other questions?". Her nurse will call with "normal results" within a day of receiving them after her review.
Sorry to hear the increase but maybe it'll help you get leveled off!!!!
