Anyone Else On Armour Thryoid
About 10 years ago when at Doctor's I told him I had lost my energy - blah to be exact - he did blood work - and put me on Armour thyroid - Since it got harder and harder to find - I finally told Doctor that I had gone a week without and couldn't find - so he immediately contacted a compounding pharmacy" and they sent me another type. My favorite pharmacist - who has his Doctorate - told me that about a month ago - a nation wide chain who he works for - has gone into compounding - which will save me shipping fees.

If so, yes this board is aware of the Armour shortage and many have changed to compounding thyroid meds, synthetics or Nature Throid. Walgreen's, a nation wide chain has some compounding pharmas - very few. 99% of compounding pharmas around here are ma and pa places from way back.
