CONTINIOUS BLEEDING WITH HIGH TSH

Hello Dr Mark,
                      I am 26 years old and since 4 months i have been regularly bleeding, My tsh level has been increasing.... inside 6 months it has increase from 3.32 to 4.32 . i have gained 20 pounds just inside 2 months,,,,,
i currently weigh 130 pounds and i am 5 feet 1 ,,,, my weight has never increased to this level...
i am very depressed with my weight gain ,,,,and ongoing bleeding,
can continuous bleeding inc tsh level?
please advice,

hi i dont think the doctors read this site but when i first went to the dr and was diagnosed hypo my reason for going was i was bleeding almost continuous with only a few days inbetween and thought it was the menapause but your symptoms can all be thyroid related have you been tested for underacive thyoid also i would ask for iron to be tested with that amount of blood loss have you had t4 and t3 tested if i were you i would try to see dr again

If your TSH is at the 4.32 level - you are hypothyroid and your periods will be more intense and often. I would assume your have alot of fatigue along with this. Are you on any thyroid medication at this time? If not you should consider it. An iron test would be also best as jax said -
