Today they said that the mass is 1cm X 1cm and that it's in the lower left of the thyroid. Blood work came back as well. I'm not that sure what it means though. They said that they would like to do a biopsy after the CT but also said that my T3 adn T4 levels came back normal.
What does that mean??? Anybody?
I'm not really sure what the U/S showed. All I know really is that they called it a "spot" on the X-Ray and then a "mass" on the U/S. Both terms seem rather vague. I do know that there is only one of them (whatever it is).
I've been quite shaky lately... and feeling very warm. CT is set for March 12. It was supposed to be earlier but I'm out of town. I suppose I'll just have to wait and see.
The CT can give a better 3D view of exactly where the "mass" (what a horrible term) is located and what it may be affecting.
What did the US say? Complex, solid, cystic? Calcified? Vascularization?
Please keep us posted.
