In 1998 I have half of my thyroid removed along with a golf ball size goiter, a few months later my doctor took me off my meds because my TSH was in the "normal range". After which I have suffered classic hypothyroid symptoms but, did not know until now that the symptoms I have been suffering from were hypothroid. Because after I was released from my endocrinologist I start from to my primary care phyisican and was sent to every specialist! TSH level always remained in the low normal range. I was finally diagnosed with fibromyalgia. It wasn't until I started gaining weight 25 lbs in the last 6 months without a change in diet or excerise did I put it together that it can be hypothyroidism. My primary care phyisican just recently did a Free T3 and Free T4. My T3 is 2.76 and T4 is .85 and the TSH .86. I was told I am the "normal range" but, I am definitely suffering from the hypothyroid symptoms. My question is with both the T3 and T4 being in the low normal range could this still be hypothyroidism?
