yes if you do your work - exerercise, balanced meals, portion control, no junk foods, etc. Armour Thyroid is pig thyroid hormone extract and not a diet pill. Armour thyroid saved my life!
I'm a little confused by your question because you don't mention having a thyroid problem. Do you have a thyroid condition or are you just looking for a way to loose weight?
I want to know the same I have Thyroid issues and I am sick of being fat not matter what or how little I eat and how much I exercise. Nothing has worked. I am now on this med. and will it help......
Not if you don't follow a diet and exercise program for hypothyroidism.
What are your thyroid issues ?
Hypo patients are carb resistant. They can not absorb carbs into energy very well. And carbs become stored when not used.
Weight gain.
This is just one thing that happens when going hypo and eating certain foods
Sugars are a big no no too.
I have been on every diet know to man , I have done the low carb thing and it simply does not work..... My doctor has informed me that it is due to being hypo. that makes it harder for me to lose weight. as for my diet i only eat healthy. and i only eat boneless skinless chicken breast as meat... I do not eat any red meat.. it disgust me.. As for what issue I have well first i have a goiter and second I have hashimoto's. I went to doctor all my teen years that checked my levels and stated they where fine. It was not intill I became part of the medical field my self before i actually got a good PCP and he sent me to serveral different thyroid doctors that they found the problem. I myself know how different medication effect you when changing for med to med, Do not like playing the medication game. So far every doctor I speak to in my field has good reviews on this medication and they say it will help. I just wanted to know if someone that actually has Hashimotos that has taken this medication has actually lose weight with it and it has actually brought down thier levels? oh as for exercise I am a very active person from my job to my family life. I do not sit at all unless it is in the car driving to and from work (8 miles)or at bed time. i really dont even know what tv is, and I get on the computer maybe twice a week for about 15 mins.
