TSH is 6.9

I feel like I'm hyper again since I've been on the Levoxyl. Right now I'm on 25 mcg and my TSH is 6.9. Is that really bad? I don't show any hypo symptoms at all. Like I said, I could swear I'm hyper again. The throbbing, painful feeling in my thyroid is back too--and that had disappeared after the RAI until I started on the Levoxyl almost five weeks ago.

I hope my Pm's back to you explain the hypo-hyper symptom thing Ed.

Also the TSH of 6.9 is too high as I stated - your doctor should be in support of an increase of meds.

It all an adjustment period - a slow adjustment to getting things back for you

At a TSH of 5.96, I felt hyper to the extreme. Severe insomnia (sleep 2 hours a day if lucky) and anxiety so bad I thought I was at the end.

Hang in there. It will get better as TSH drops.
