Feeeling Terrible on Nature throid

3 Weeks ago I started NT and have had headaches, irritability and have been in a daze. I had tests done last week and my TSH was .034 and my FreeT4 was 7.6. I was taking half a grain and for the first time in a long time I felt warm and my skin was softer and I was sleeping better but I just couldn't stick with it as the side effects were overwhelming. I then went to 1/4 grain but still had the same problems, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

Laura asked some very good clarification.

There are some thoughts.

You may not be on enough meds
Your not increasing meds at right times.
You could be having issues with the fillers and need to either up - or change the NT

Has anything else changed at all... new meds... conditions...? stress?

What range is your lab using for your T4? Are you sure that was a free t4?
What was your free t3 level?  If you are on a med with both t4 and t3, you have to have both levels tested.....otherwise you do not know if you have a proper ratio of t4 and t3 in your body.   You cannot go by the TSH at all, because any med with T3 in it will supress your TSH and make you look hyper. I cannot imagine a Dr not testing both of your Frees when you are on a combo med. Are you seeing a thyroid specialist?
