High TSH
My blood tests just came back and I have a TSH of 39.120. I know that is really high, am I in any danger of something happening
Hopefully your dr also ran a Free T4 and Free T3 with this TSH? If you are hypothyroid, then you need to be started on meds as soon as possible. Running a TSH only is very irresponsible in my opinion. How do you know if it is thyroid related or pituitary related? You should have at least had a Free t4 run with it.
Make them redo your tsh with the other tests as soon as possible....so you know if it is your thyroid or not. :)
