Level have to be stable to go that long without labs and person not be symptomatic.
I totally agree with both postings.
Level have to be stable to go that long without meds and person not be symptomatic.
I agree. If you have been very stable, a year might be acceptable, with the caveat, of course, that if any symptoms appear, you should have bloodwork sooner.
I think that anytime there's a dosage change, you ought to have bloodwork 5-6 weeks later to evaluate the dosage change...this is whether symptoms persist or not. If you feel well, you want to know what your levels are...these become your personal goals.
Regularly scheduled bloodwork can be spaced further apart once you know your own symptoms well enough to know when to have "unscheduled" bloodwork.
Hi, well depends if you are now stable? i went 3 monthly for a year now six monthly..If you are not right with being stable yet i would be doing 3 monthly bloods..
