Personally I would be getting another Doctor.
If your TSH is what you have typed here in your posting, then you shouldnt be on Synthroid. Your TSH is showing HYPER.
I also a Christain and I pray alot and do bible studies with Beth Moore That has taught me so much about myself and the Bible
I had a complete Thyroid panel for a year and glucose the sugar stayed at 264 for the test for two hours . Never been near that again, 160 if I am really bad. But thyroid stays at0.100 tsh for over a year and hemoglobin stays at 6.2 and I stay anemic. No one know what is wrong and they just keep wanting more test but no one seems to excited about my problem except I am not working because I tire really quickly and my brain fog gets bad I am not very good at remembering what they said yesterday and I almost think its not worth the effort since the doctor just says lets see what happens next month and the weight is pilling on
What ever medicin you are taking go for PRAYANAM (breathing exercise)and yoga
for hypo or hyperthyroid and notic the result. but please do it correctly.
take care
Why did you stop the Synthroid? And what types of blood tests did your doctor do and what were the results of those tests? I'm no doctor but I think you need to get a fasting glucose test and a complete thyroid panel. Did you mention to your doctor that you are thirsty all the time? Just taking Synthroid isn't going to cause you to gain weight. There's something else going on. You need to get proactive in your healthcare. Get those blood tests and have the results explained to you. And find a doctor who will listen.
