I shake when I'm calm, watch tv, wake up shaking, if I get nervouse they get worse or like hold a cup of tea is hard, typing is hard, and writing,.  When I wash dishes I often drop things, like by hands just have a force on surge and sometimes toss something im holding. (My muscles fill stiff after seating for alittle while, I can't sleep, mostly because my body is hurting felling stiff.  I can't eat around people because I cant hold my fork still, but even though its in my hands , I also i feel it in my legs, and trunk, and now my head . Somethimes people can see me shaking,, other times no one can tell. My doctor put me on prozac, it is not helping. except is does help me not be so jumpy, aggrivated, I feel so foggy. When I get upset or workout,or do things that take alittle more entergy then it gets bad.

Regular internal medicine Doctor had me   on  doseage was 0.125 mg Levothyoxin . . then just 5 days ago changed it to 0.100mg

my blood work is   T4 12.9          (regerence Range    4.5-12.0)     taken Dec 09

                                THS  0.135   (reference Range   0.55-4.78)

I'm very fustrated with my doctor, and I am going to find a new one, She thinks all this is my nevers and I had to beg her to test my thyroid, it had been 3 years since she even checked it, I have never felt this way before, I don't think it's my nevers and havent been able to get  my doctor to refeer me to a thyroid specialist.yet..  I have felt this way for 3 months.  I am 47 female Good health weigh 135    5'3" eat health, excercise, don't smoke, or drink.
Are these numbers on my thyroid something to persue with another doctor.   Please help me

Thank you, for your comments, did you have all of these symptoms too? This is one of the hardest thing to deal with.

May God Bless you,

your thyroid levels are showing hyperthyroidism from too much medicine, which could definitely cause anxiety, aggravation, tremors, jumpy.  it's good that you had your meds reduced.  get your labs redrawn in about 6 weeks or so to see if your levels have normalized.  it could take that long to feel better as well.  it does take a little  bit of time for your symptoms to subside.

you are on the right track with the med reduction.  and you are right on about your symptoms...continue to be your own advocate.  you know when your body is out of whack.  be persistent about getting the proper treatment and answers, but also be patient when it comes to med adjustments.  unfortunately, i'm sure you know this, it takes time.

i'm not a doctor...just a fellow thyroid disease sufferer.

good luck.
