Cytomel = T3 med - most people who have indeterminate biopsies and/or thyCA are generally started on this first. ( According to my surgeon)
Lexapro= Anti-Depressant - I used to take this everyday before surgery and only for 6 wks. after. I use this now only if needed. It makes you feel calm & collected ( or at least that's my experience)
If you go to the webmd site and type in the name of the drug it will give you the info you are looking for.
What time do you have to be there tomorrow?
Wishing you a speedy and easy surgery & even speedier recovery.

My doctor had put me on Synthroid after my lobectomy. But now since the papillary cancer ...after my surgery tom...have to be at hosp for 8am , he is switching me to the Cytomel. The Lexapro I will take at night. Sounds like it might even help with sleeping which I don't seem to get much of these days. I don't like to take med's unless I need to but guessing right now is a good time to take just in case. Thank you for your help!
