Thanks to all of you for the tips. Definitelly I will ask my doctor about it.
It is important to get your calcium checked.
If you do have low calcium there are some pretty scary symptoms that you could experience. Trust me. . .
Here I sit, day 4 in the hospital. I was readmitted 2 days after my TT with very low calcium. it's beginning to regulate with the help of calcium & vit. D supplements, but I was on an IV drip for a few days. Hopefully I'll be released tomorrow as long as my numbers hold.
I have had similar symptoms with tingling and muscle twitching, never getting Vit D, and Calcium levels checked after seeing the doc. I will definitly use this in my visit next week with my NEW doc. Tha.nks for posting.
Sometimes that can signal a problem with the parathyroid glands. Try taking some Calcium w/Vit. D and see if that helps. If it does, then it probably is parathyroid related.
