chest xrays

I have read that people with thyroid cancer should have a yearly chest x-ray as part of follow-up treatment. This is the first I have heard of this in the two years since diagnosis. What do others know about this?

Haven't had a chest x-ray in conjunction with my cancer/treatment - neither have any of my sisters.

Probably to check for enlarged nodes.  I know my doc feels for them at my checkup.

I just had my first annual WBS done in January and I had to get a chest x-ray before the WBS.  I also had a chest x-ray before my TT.
