I have just had TT and have been adivsed to have RAI - I canot have it for a few weeks as I am going on holiday in 2 weeks - will this be a problem that I won't be on Thyroxin. Ca anyone tell me about RAI treatment and prognosis after having cancer of thryroid

Get the RAI over and done with, you will feel like a million dollars a few weeks after RAI and enjoy the holiday more.

Well not being on thyroid meds might make your holiday seem less like a holiday! Usually about 3 weeks after being on no thyroid hormones your body will start to let you know it's not happy. You will get achy and tired at the least. You might want to reconsider the holiday till you are feeling better after the RAI.
