For thyroid cancer patients, the TSH and the Tg are related. IF there are remaining cancer cells, the higher the TSH, the higher the Tg will be. That's why doctors perform both suppressed and stimulated Tg tests. For example, when my recurrence was diagnosed, my Tg with my TSH at .04 was 1.6. Two weeks later, after stimulation with Thyrogen, my TSH was at 13.84 and my Tg was 6. I seem to remember that you are a thyroid cancer survivor, but if I'm wrong, I apologize.
Most labs have the <20 number for TgAB. That means you are negative in that respect. That's good news because it means that your Tg levels will be accurate. If your TgAB was elevated, you wouldn't be able to trust your Tg number.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that your Tg will be undetectable!!
Take care,

The TG antibodies all the sheet said was under 20 but NO number. The TG I am pending that and the tsh was .08 Man how confusing!

TSH doesn't really have anything to do with TG levels.
They should have run a TG test AND a TGab test.
The reason they run both tests when measuring you TG is this; if you have TGab, it will mess up the TG test result, making it useless.
So...what was the result of your TGab?
Hopefully it will be below whatever the labs lowest measurement is. Just out of curiosity, what was the TgAB result?
With your TSH that suppressed, there shouldn't be any measurable thyroglobulin.
Take care!
