Synthroid question

I'm curious, although it's not my med.  Isn't a .125 Synthroid dose rather high to start off at initially?  The woman is Hypo and still has her Thyroid.

also other factors would come in too. Her weight may have something to do with that along with labs. Her condition of the thyroid too.

Not being a doc, I can only comment based on my own experience and I guess it would depend on her lab results and a recheck via blood wtihin a few weeks.
