Thyroid Problem???

I went to my doc about 3 weeks ago because I've been having problems sleeping, lost 10lbs, etc. He ordered some blood work and my FT4 came back high 1.6 (range 0.8 - 1.5), TSH 1.27 (range 0.5 - 4.7), and the Antibody <10 (normal 39). All I've been told was to have more labs done in a month. I've increased my eating, and still slowly losing weight.

I'm a 27 year old female now down to 104lbs and dropping. There are no thyroid problems in my family, but my mother does have Lupos. May I possibly have a thyroid problem, and should I just wait and get more blood drawn in a month or should I try and see an Endo.

Thx

Your TSH looks fine abd it looks like your doctor is running for tests. If your symptoms continue infor your doctor if you are not satisfied with waiting, an endo or OBGYN may be helpful

I have a problem of losing weight, too.  I have had to start using high calorie powder drink to keep weight on.  If it is of real concern to you, get the appt. for the endo.  He might find something that your MD might not.
